In Vitro Study on Collagen Application in Wound Healing: A Systematic Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Collagen is key component of extracellular matrix for human and animals. It can be extracted applied various field especially in tissue engineering as main wound healing. type I collagen used skin regeneration process due to its high compatibility with donor site low antigenicity besides having suitable properties healing like cell proliferation adhesion. However, the usage alone would not give maximum since degrades faster, has poor structure a scaffold attracts bacteria moisture content. Therefore, produce good scaffold, it must incorporated functional biomaterials enhance characteristic fabricated better structure. The objective this systematic review summarize relevant literature vitro study on application by focusing source collagen, fabrication methods making scaffold. Three databases were searched; PubMed, Scopus Science Direct. Keywords were: recombinant A total 1105 articles screened but only 50 further reviewed. versatility terms used, combined make an enhanced create desirable

متن کاملReview collagen-based biomaterials for wound healing.
With its wide distribution in soft and hard connective tissues, collagen is the most abundant of animal proteins. In vitro, natural collagen can be formed into highly organized, three-dimensional scaffolds that are intrinsically biocompatible, biodegradable, nontoxic upon exogenous application, and endowed with high tensile strength. These attributes make collagen the material of choice for wou...
